Created exclusively for "In Dreams: A Tribute to David Lynch" an exhibition at Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco.

"Auguring," inspired by David Lynch's groundbreaking Dream Room sequences from "Twin Peaks" and "Fire Walk With Me," "Auguring" includes symbols and visions from the dream room. Laura Palmer and Agent Cooper sit while watching the man from another place dance on the zig zagged carpet, and underneath is the face of the geometric Owl Cave Ring Laura Palmer finds in "Fire Walk With Me". A stick of old fashioned Blackjack gum, which the man from another place says "is going to come back in style," is folded in half to create the ring band.

The word Auguring is defined as: (of an event or circumstance) to portend or foreshadow a good or bad outcome, to be a seer or prophet; a soothsayer.

Comes with Sculpturing, Hand Blown Glass Cloche Dome, Black Engraved Base with Armature, Travel Pouch, and Signed, Numbered, Dated, Fingerprinted Documentation. "Auguring" also comes with the Original 9" x 12" Concept Sketch/Rendering done in Graphite on Heavyweight Rives BFK Archival Paper, framed in black, double matted in cream & black, wired and ready for hanging, signed by Rebecca Rose.
