"Ringmaster" symbolizes our dance with Father Time. Three people running from the clock and watch represent our efforts to flee time. Despite our attempts, time will eventually catch up with us. The front view of the shank is a timepiece, on the reverse, a clown peers from the back of the grandfather clock and overlooks a cemetery, like the ringmaster of a circus, time is ultimately the ringmaster of life.
