Inspired by themes taken from the film "Midnight Cowboy" the piece addresses the players playing each other while trying to play the city, yet the city plays the players best without effort. Placing false hope that a city or region alone will magically make your dreams come true and your problems solved. For years I felt that way about LA, and it's a cinematic theme I personally relate to.

The piece includes symbols representing Buck, Ratso, their shared radio, New York, Florida, and the infamous X rating the film received.
